Ezequiel (Gastón Pauls) works as a psychiatrist at a hospital in Buenos Aires. One of his patients, 85 year-old Fermín (Héctor Alterio), communicates only by using tango song’s lyrics or their titles. Ezequiel starts working with Fermín trying to figure out if there is a way for his condition to improve with treatment, he has been sick for decades. As both men start interacting, Ezequiel realizes that Fermín used to belong to a different time and place; one that was exciting and full of energy, dance and songs. The memory of an almost forgotten past comes back to life as both men bond over the wonders of tango era Buenos Aires.
